Lithium niobate wafer scribing
Description
Evana Technologies has adapted its patented (portfolio ) scribing method for sapphire wafers to scribing lithium niobate wafers. Lithium niobate is widely used for optical modulation, wavelength conversion and other photonic phenomena or as a substrate for electronic devices. However, lithium niobate can be a very tricky material to process. Our scribing method was refined to overcome difficulties in laser processing of lithium niobate.
